1-What did Gulliver really use the knife for?
He used the knife to cut the
ropes that had tied his hands together.

He didn't punish the men who shot

The King decided to make him a
bed.

Workmen fitted together six
hundred beds where he slept comfortably.

The villages were now so empty and there were
not enough people to work in the fields.

down the streets?
He needed to
be careful that his coat did not damage the roofs of the small houses.

There were
many shops and little markets and in the centre of the city stood the King's
palace.

The windows
were too small.

Tramecksan believed
that people should wear high heels because this was the tradition.

represent the Conservatives while the
Slamecksan represent the Labour .

The King
wanted to wear low heels although his son the Prince liked to wear high heels.

Blefuscu was
an island about 800metres to the northeast of Lilliput.

The people ran

Lilliput lost forty ships and around thirty thousand
soldiers. Blefuscu had lost a similar number of people.

He was ready
